Thanks to two surveys carried out in 2016 and 2017, categories of stakeholders concerned by shellfish diseases have been defined and their perceptions regarding the disease issue have been collected. This work was developed with a view to providing an improved understanding of the relationships between these categories.
On 29 August 2018, in the framework of Aqua 2018 in Montpellier (F), the VIVALDI consortium will organise an open workshop entitled “Acting together to better prevent and mitigate farmed bivalve diseases”. The draft programme is now available!
Since the beginning of the year 2018, Spanish, English and Italian researchers involved in VIVALDI have published 3 articles emphasising some first scientific results notably obtained thanks to our project.
Several VIVALDI works have been presented at the National Fisheries Association meeting in Seattle, by colleagues from the University of Cork (IE) and Ifremer (F).
